When Ally falls asleep in history class, she travels through time to meet none other than the venerable Ben Franklin. Ben has devised a most interesting card game for Ally, based on his 13 virtues. What follows is a trip through the past, filled with famous figures central to American history. You see the characters through the eyes of Ally in beautiful 3D computer generated images. Your choices and knowledge of the time period of Ben Franklin will earn virtue points. The game is entertaining, engaging, and informative.
This adventure is based on the classic autobiography of author, inventor, and patriot Ben Franklin giving Ally the chance to interact with characters from two and a half centuries ago. Moving through the game's 55 levels, you can talk with the characters, examine their homes and environs, and read what Ben Franklin wrote about a particular event or time period.
Featuring a solid story and original 3-D graphics, Ally 2 will immerse you in 18th-century American history and culture. With no off-topic distractions such as graphic violence, the goal of the program is to solve puzzles, interact with historical characters, have fun, and learn about the life of Ben Franklin, and the times in which he lived. You learn about Ben's famous 13 virtues, his kite-flying experiment in which he verified that lightning was, indeed, electricity, as well as hundreds of important and interesting ideas that shaped life two hundred fifty years ago -- and today.
