PoolScore is an automated tool for the setup, team selection, monitoring, and final scoring of a pool for a single elimination tournament. The format of the application is designed to conform to the structure of the end of season "March Madness" NCAA basketball tournament.. You will find PoolScore as the most intuitive and easy to use program that is available to manage and track your office college basketball tournament.
PoolScore makes running an NCAA Basketball Tournament pool easy. The Pool Coordinator uses a graphic display to enter the names of the 64 teams, make any desired modifications to titles, add any instructional notes, and select the point values for each flight of the tournament.
The setup goes very quickly with an assisted input prompted from a file of over 200 NCAA school names.. But, as an alternative, the author will post (at this WEB site) the "pairings file" (POOLSTART.PSS) for the 2004 NCAA basketball tournament when the team selections and seed positions are announced. Then, the Pool Coordinator will only need to enter any optional notes or make changes desired to the point values awarded for the correct selections by tournament round.
